General Information
Elevit is a once-daily vitamin and mineral supplement which is specially formulated with essential nutrients to help meet the nutritional needs of women preparing their body for pregnancy, those pregnant and breastfeeding. Elevit helps provide both mother and baby with nutritional support to help baby's healthy development.
Elevit contains a range of vitamins and minerals including the highest level of folic acid and iron of any pregnancy multivitamin and a high level of iodine for brain development. Folic acid is clinically proven to reduce the risk of birth defects, like spina bifida, iron helps to prevent iron deficiency and iodine assists baby's brain development.
Warnings
Always read the label. Use only as directed. If you have had a baby with a neural tube defect/spina bifida, seek specific medical advice.
This product contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 100mcg for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Suitable for use by adults only. Do not exceed the stated dose of folic acid except on medical advice.
Vitamin supplements should not replace a balanced diet.

Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 85mg
Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3 200IU) 5mcg
dl-alpha tocopherol (Vitamin E, as dl-alpha tocopheryl acetate) 18.7mg
Biotin (Vitamin H) 30mcg
Calcium (as calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, calcium pantothenate and calcium carbonate) 125mg

Directions
Take Elevit for at least one month before pregnancy, throughout pregnancy and the breastfeeding period.
Directions for Use: Take one tablet daily with the main meal or as directed by your healthcare professional.
